Shillong - Kaziranga - Guwahati

Assistance at Guwahati Airport / Guwahati Railway station and drive to Shillong. Evening is free at leisure for shopping. Overnight stay will be at Shillong.

After breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee (56 km), the wettest place on earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limestone caves and orange honey. Watch the Dain-Thlen Falls, Noh-Kalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls and also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park and the Living root Bridge. Return to Shillong. En route spend time at the Shillong Peak. Overnight stay will be at Shillong.

Enjoy local sightseeing of the ‘Scotland of the East’ Shillong covering Cathedral Church, Lady Hydari Park, the Orchidarium, Elephant Falls and the Golf Course and drive to the Shillong peak to enjoy a splendid view of Shillong. Later proceed towards Kaziranga National Park. Overnight stay will be at Kaziranga.

In the morning enjoy a Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari at Kaziranga National Park. (Safari and Activities at own expense). Return back to Guwahati. In Guwahati visit the local Emporiums for ethnic local products. You may also opt to spend you evening at Balaji Temple or take a cruise across the river Brahmaputra, if time permits. (cruise at additional expenses). Overnight stay will be at Guwahati

In the morning take a temple tour of Maa Kamakhya Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Sukleshwar Temple. Later proceed for Guwahati Airport / Guwahati Railway station.
